Connections between 2 world

I have't being to the extreme west for a very long time and there's a place that I have been looking forward to for a very long time. Therefore, I guess that it's time for me to make a visit to that place...

Here comes....

As you walk along the path moving towards the lake, you will come across a smaller pagoda near to the lake.

Continue walking along the path and cross the bridge will leads you to the...

Main entrance to this Chinese 'Park'...

and more walking...

and you will come across a 'koi' pond. Chilli off a bit by taking a look at the fishes swimming...

Getting through this building will lead you to the...

The turtle museum, which is the Guinness World for
having the largest collection of turtles.

Take a short stroll back to the pagoda and you will come across a pond with...

traditional chinese looking buildings surrounding the pond...

and a big statue of Confucius.

As you walk past the pagoda, you will come across a park with...

Stone status of the 12 chinese zodiacs. So which zodiac are you belong to?

Besides for the stone statue, there's also stone
chairs with the zodiacs sitting beside it.
(Like the one that I had shown here.)

Cross another bridge and that will lead you to a completely different world.
No more chinese looking buildings and structures but now that you will be getting is...

Japanese looking structures.
What I have shown here would be the best representative of a Japanese structure.
A 'Torii Gate'.

Next to the 'Torii Gate' would be a Japanese looking Building...

Japanese Garden.
(Although I think they were trying to build a ZEN harden
but it doesn't really look like it, but it still look Japanese,
especially with the stone lanterns, etc...

Spend some time, walk around the park and you might find something that interest you.
For example:

Japanese looking bridges...

Bushes that looks like Mosses...

Interesting looking Pond... etc.

By the way, you have reached the end of this post and the actual name of the places that I had shown here would be the 'Chinese' garden and the 'Japanese' garden located next to the Singapore MRT station of 'Chinese Garden'. Mark my words, it's always a healthy thing to do strolling through a unexplored park and taking a break from the fast-paced city life.

As for myself, I love the countryside and I don't mind staying in the countryside.
Ever since I was young, my ideal home would be a house situated in the middle of
a bamboo forest. It would also be the ideal place for taking a rest from the fast-paced
busy city life of Singapore.

Movie: The Descendants

Finish watching another movie... What should I say about this.... I know... I don't know what the hell is going on in the movie industry in the US. I still could't figure out why they have categorised this movie as a comedy... =.="" This is more of a family ties movie and it is not funny at all... Although I must accept the fact that George Clooney was a good actor and his acting skills in this movie is awesome but I'm trying to find an humorous movie and not a serious one ==. By the way, if you have seen one of his previous works 'Up in the Air' and you like it, you probably will like this title too.

A stroll in the Park.....

An afternoon with no plans, therefore I decided to talk a stroll through a park. Similarly rather than categorize this place as a park, I guess this place is more of a mini Nature Reserve.

Let's take a look at some of the photos that I have taken...

The name of this place would be 'Labrador Park'.

Also known as 'Labrador Nature Reserve'.

Here are photos of the Jetty of 'Labrador Park'. Too bad they have seal off the pathway to the Jetty, else I would love to walk to the end off the Jetty and enjoy the sea breeze to the Max.

Even though I can't gain access to the Jetty, taking a stroll down the Beach
isn't such a bad experience after all. You can find sights like...

Up close with the remains to the 2nd World War... Speaking of that, I saw a bunch of adults playing some sort of shooting games around these remains of the world war and I guess I known why...

Anyone in for some spooky adventure dungeon trail...? (Definitely not me...)

Managed to spot one of the species of the place... One of my friends favourite... a lizard...

There's a few dining places located around 'Labrador Park' and 'ECO gourmet cafe' is one of them... Wanted to give it a try but they are only left with bar counter seats...

By the way, if you know your way around, you can also make your way to 'Hort Park' and 'Mount Faber', which is not too far away. (Walking distance between 'Hort Park' and 'Labrador Park' is about 10 minutes or so. :P)

Another Marvel Movie

How should I put it. I love to watch movies that are based on Marvel Comics. X-Men, Wolverine, Fantastic 4, Iron Man ... etc. These are the kind of movies that will remind me of the good old days watching all the Cartoons that are based on Marvel Comics. Although I can't get a car license or a motorcycle license, it can't stop me from admiring people that can ride a motorcycle. I like the idea of riding and immersing your body in the strong wind. (I think that it will be even much more interesting if I can get hold of a motorcycle like the one the Ghost Rider is using, with all the blazes coming out from the motorcycle.) Either ways back to the movie, I think it sort of lack some action scenes + impact. Although you get to see better effects than the previous movie, the storyline is pretty dull and in fact I was expecting it to have much much more action scenes. But as a Marvel fan, I just couldn't resist all the Marvel Comics based Movies.
